How do I dispose of my bamboo toothbrush?

To ensure eco-friendly disposal, please follow these steps:

Remove Bristles: Use pliers to remove the Nylon-4 bristles from the bamboo handle if composting.
Compost the Handle: The bamboo handle can be composted in your home compost bin or a municipal composting facility. Breaking the handle into smaller pieces accelerates the decomposition process.
Recycle or Industrial Compost Bristles: Please check with your local recycling program if they accept Nylon-4. If so, please recycle. If they do not, please dispose of them in your regular garbage bin.

Decomposition Time

Bamboo Handle:

Home Composting: Typically decomposes within 6 to 12 months
Industrial Composting: Can decompose in about 4 to 6 months.
Natural Environment: Decomposition can take between 6 months and 3 years, depending on environmental conditions.
Landfills: Decomposition in a landfill can be significantly slower and can take several years.
